Welcome to East Renfrewshire Hindu Cultural & Welfare Association’s website

We were founded in 2004 by some visionary members of the community with a view to providing a platform for people with Hindu cultural backgrounds to get together a few times a year on the occasion of Holi and Diwali festivals. The driving philosophy of the founding members was to sustain and support the Hindu culture and heritage in the west coast of Scotland. We have been organising Holi and Diwali very successfully every year ever since the association was formed. The other key objective we have is to involve children with Hindu cultural backgrounds growing up in Scotland to engage with their culture and heritage in a way they feel comfortable with.
